29+ Commuting again...

After a week off from cycling after Forth Fat 17 and the following weeks cycling it was ace to get back on the Surly KramPug 29+ commuting again today...

And news is the drought is over (maybe) after heavy rain on Saturday and again on Monday.
It has transformed the countryside with a lush green growth you cannot help notice as you cycle country roads...

A day spent at work mowing as the sky cleared to a clear deep blue midday...

By 3pm the sky changed real quick as the forecasted rain swept in behind me as i rode home from work...

An approaching heavy shower had me turning off road and sheltered behind the wall of a WW2 roofless building on Station road south of Dirleton village...

No sign of it passing quickly i got the Alpkit waterproofs out the courier bag....

I gave it 5 mins before the rain lightened a bit and i continued...

Onwards into the tail end of the down pour and near Kingston i headed around Fenton Tower...

Baaa!

Onwards and south of NB Law into Balgone Estate and the sky once again cleared, time to get the waterproofs off!...

Some woodland trails before following the John Muir Way home...

All quiet and peaceful in `The Shire...`

Some film i shot with the Go Pro,
Song is `Take My Soul` by Thievery Corporation...
